Styling and appearance

This high level of performance is achieved with a conventionally styled outward-opening casement window featuring slim sightlines, available with either standard bevelled or decorative ovolo casements.

New Settanta has raised the bar again. In addition to improved environmental and security performance, New Settanta now achieves an ‘A’ rating for extrusion quality. Classification of wall thickness is Class A in accordance with EN12608.

Thermal efficiency

The Settanta suite of products is based on the highly successful LB Sheerframe system. Casements are part of the enhanced thermal performance range which includes five chamber design and come with co-extruded weatherseals to maximise weather performance.

Settanta windows and doors are manufactured using lead free profiles. This is in conjunction with the P.V.C. industries voluntary commitment to the E.U. Environment Commission (The vinyl 2010 voluntary charter) to help eliminate 50% of the use of lead by 2010 and 100% by 2015. Calcium-zinc completely replaces the use of lead as a stabiliser during the extrusion process.

The raw materials that are used to produce Settanta windows are carefully selected to ensure any risk to humans or the environment – whether perceived or actual – is kept to an absolute minimum.

Settanta windows are amongst the first PVC windows to become lead-free, with the use of lead additives phased out as a precautionary measure and replaced with calcium organic stabilisers.

It is steps like this that ensure the health of the people that manufacture and use Settanta windows can be assured of total safety.

Casements

Our 5th generation Settanta outward opening casement window suite is available in two styles - The fully contoured casement or the bevelled system (with contoured bead). All with a full complement of profiles and ancillaries.

Doors and French Doors

The Settanta residential door range can be produced in a wide range of styles and finishes. Doors can be outward or inward opening and come with a variety of thresholds and cill designs.

Tilt and Turns

The Settanta range of tilt & turn windows offers a wide choice of sashes, system styles and bead finishes to provide optimum appearance, weather performance and ease of operation.

Fully Reversible

The Settanta Top Reversible system meets the challenges of climate change head on with major design breakthroughs, which reduce heat loss and improve weathertightness.

Bi-Folding Doors

The Settanta Bi-Fold door delivers a contemporary style along with high-performance and reliability. Available in a range of configurations and styles to create a striking visual and functional feature to a property whilst bringing flexibility to room design.

Curtain Walling

The Settanta curtain walling system facilitates construction of a wide range of styles and sizes of curtain walling. A wide range of window styles can be fitted into the system. The grid has its own drainage, thermal break, expansion/contraction elements constructed into the system.

Settanta Windows and doors feature a patented unique reinforcing system - Thermlock® - which provides greater strength, better window security and better thermal performance than traditional reinforcing.

Thermlock FP is part of the fully reinforced zero carbon window construction.
